Kevin James and Vince Vaughn team up for stand-up

Two men known best as actors are returning to their stand-up comedy roots with a group of other funnymen this fall.

Vince Vaughn (Couples Retreat, Wedding Crashers) and Kevin James (King of Queens, Hitch) are teaming up for the “Vince Vaughn & Kevin James Comedy Roadshow,” which runs from Nov. 1 at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston through Nov. 18 at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego.

Highlights from the 14-city tour includes stops on Nov. 5 at the Avery Fisher Hall in New York; Nov. 7 at the Merriam Theatre in Philadelphia; and Nov. 8 at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.

Special guests include Owen Benjamin, Steve Byrne and Richie Minervini.

Early next year, Vaughn and James fans will have another chance to see the duo together when their new film, “The Dilemma,” hits the big screen on Jan. 14, 2011.
